The usual story...I have too many project cars and not enough money, time, space, etc. The car is located in Columbus, Ga about 90 miles south of Atlanta. Including the purchase price I have over $2100 invested, I'm looking for $1700 obo......reduced to $1500. I can be reached at from_afar78 at hotmail dot com or message me through the forum.

I purchased the car in Feb. 2011 and have driven it 3 to 4 times a week since then. I've steadily worked on it and it still needs work but has started right up every time and gotten me where I was going. It has an auto trans that shifts perfect and the B230F 2.3L. The engine has the typical oil leaks from a clogged breather box and flame trap. I removed and cleaned the flame trap and added a valve cover breather but haven't gotten to the breather box yet. Included with the car is a new cam/layshaft seal, trans filter and gasket, rear oil seal plate, rear cam seal, ceramic fuse set and a Haynes manual.

Things I've fixed so far and other good points - Replace the odometer gear. The shows just over 132,000 miles now and that should be very close to the actual mileage. I have all the service records on the car from when it was new and it looks like the gear was only broken a few months. - Removed and reinstalled the windshield to fix a leak. I still have the windshield trim but I left it off. - Replaced motor mounts. - New timing belt - New plug wires - Fresh oil change (less than 25 miles ago) - Installed new front undertray and a couple misc clips. - New valve cover gasket when I added the valve cover breather. - Welded up two holes in the exhaust. Whatever shop replaced the exhaust cut two holes in the piping when they were cutting it to size. - Reran the brake light wiring from the fuse panel to the bulb failure sensor to the brake lights. The original connector from the fuse panel lost it's insulation at some point and fried the wiring. Someone hacked it up to try and fix it, I removed thier "wiring" and reran it with new wire like the OE wiring was run. - Rewired the aftermarket radio correctly. It would randomly turn off. - Fixed the front door speakers so they still worked when the front windows were down (seriously). - Added two 6x9" speakers in enclosures in the back. - Replaced the front driver seat base wire grid and missing springs. - Aside from the driver seat base the seats are in great shape. - The dash pad is cracked but the interior is in good shape. - Really comfortable ride with very few squeaks or rattles. - Heater works really well.

Some of the issues it still has - When I removed the windshield I uncovered the typical rust at the top of the a pillars. I cleaned it up a little and hit it with Eastwood rust converter and then covered it with waterproof tape. This was supposed to be a very short term fix but it's been about two months. - Showing rust around the taligate hinges. - The rain channels are fairly rusty at the front, but don't look bad at the back. - Could use new tires soon. - No jack and spare is completely shot. - As stated above, the breather box needs to be cleaned out so it still leaks oil. I'm sure in addition to the included gaskets it could use a rear main seal. - Needs new belts - Front driver window switch works when it wants to. I pulled it and cleaned all the old soda and gunk out but it still only intermitantly works. - All four power windows move slow and the front driver window regulator needs to be replaced. It works just not well. - Replaced the AC switch and the AC worked but has since quit again, no idea what's wrong. The system is still R12. - Cruise control doesn't work. Haven't been able to track down the problem. - Cargo area is pretty dirty and worn out. - Gauge cluster clock doesn't work.

I'm sure I'm missing some things but that is pretty much a brutally honest description. Overall it's a great car and I hate to see it go. You can view more pics of the car here: http://s810.photobucket.com/albums/zz23/1Dren/Cars/

It does. The seat is in good shape and still has the seatbelts.

Alright, I just got back from putting a used tire on the Volvo. I was under the car and saw that the rear driver tire was in pretty bad shape, the other three are good. I also put a used tire on the spare rim (a real tire, not a donut). So now there's a spare without holes in it.

And now the clincher for anyone on the fence. They aren't pictured but the car does come with all four EO hubcaps.....at no extra charge!

Well, my AC is fixed. If no one buys this car I'll have no choice but to drop a 5.0L in it. Please save me!
