I came across this on my small town CL:

I have for sale a 1994 Honda Del Sol VTEC rolling chassis. This was the model with the B16a3 engine, its got 4 wheel disc brakes, power windows, 5 speed car with all the pedals and interior parts. targa does not leak.
Chassis has 84k miles.

I cant be more than 15 minutes from this. Happy to lay some eyes on it if anyone needs help. It crossed my mind as a good commuter but it doesn't align with my current needs.
I guess with a $800 price tag, you can't really complain...but why no pix of the interior?
I like Hondas, but never paid much attention to these as I always thought these had more of the "hairdresser's ride" / "chick car" label than a Miata. But, as a platform for nearly any 4 cylinder Honda engine...

Del Sols are neat little cars. Heavy for their size, and kinda rattly, but you can roll the rear window down and remove the targa top like it's a '68 'Vette. Wonder how bad the body rust is - that's awful cheap for a Honda even without a drivetrain.
I know the B16 models existed, but every Del Sol I'd ever seen was a non-vtec D-series.
