98' Neon r/t turbo $2k

I have a running driving 1998 Neon R/T turbo. This is a 4door with sunroof and very clean interior. I purchased the car after it had been sitting for three years. I was able to get it running enough to drive it around the parking lot and haven't played with it since. Odometer reads 70k but previous owner estimated it more like 90 since the odo stopped counting. Only bad thing is some front end damage. The hood, rad support and headlights were broke. Front bumper has sweet molded in fiberglass air duct for intercooler. Interior is very clean, looks like 70k miles. Car is so nice inside I would daily drive it. The more time I spend on the car the more mods I find. Previous owner was not the builder so he did not know much about it. The engine is said to be built, has a je sticker on valvecover but I have no way to verify that. I did however do a compression test and it was 200-210 across so I believe it has been rebuilt. I started the car with some help from ether, I don't believe its getting enough fuel psi to the rail because it sounded starved of fuel when it did run. I rigged a fuel pump in the tank and think it may be bleeding off some pressure so I recommend that be replaced. Car doesn't need much money invested just time. Here are some modifications... Accel dfi gen 6 w/ cable (standalone!!!) Crane fireball hi-6di2 iginition w/ trc-2 timing knob in cockpit Hahn turbo kit w/ what looks like a big 16g Front mount 6'' or so thick by about 20'' wide Aftermarket billet throttle body Return fuel setup with rrfpr and inline pump Fluidyne radiator bent but not leaking Kyb shocks with lowering springs

I am selling this car very cheap to move it fast. I know their are a lot of people on this site capable of getting it running right and competing with it in the challenge. I was going to tune it and fix the front end and sell it for 3500-4000 with some good dyno numbers. My research indicates this setup when tuned should make anywhere from 250-300whp. The engine is loud to an exh leak at the manifold/head flange. And I was excited during the video, I don't always scream like a school girl. Are you sure about those compression numbers? That seems REALLY high for a turbo car.

Ya really. Higher than my e46 m3. I had spun the motor over with marvel before trying to start it. Then when I couldn't get it to fire I did compression test. Cyl were cold and probally had some fuel in them from trying to start it. I can do another test after running the motor and getting it warm but I don't think its necessary, car should sell for this price even if the motor was hurt.

Will consider trades for car's running or not running. Or anything of monetary value.

I'm still kicking myself for missing out on the GRM neon project car. This one, not so much.

Though you could prob sell the standalone, and squirt it to save a bit of money in the budget.

I don't think this old school accel dfi is worth much but the car does have a cd changer and some aftermarket speakers in it. Also the interior and profec could be sold. The ignition box and timing knob are also prolly worth something and wouldn't be needed for megaskeet.

Pretty clean body besides the hood.

What Profec is on it? I'm idly looking for a Profec A to try.

It just says profec so I'm assuming its the earlier one. The hood is popped in the pics so it looks a little better when latched.

I have stock injectors and the injector connectors I planned to wire in and remove the accel dfi in favor of an fmu. The stock computer is still there so with a bit of wiring the car should be running nice and smooth on stock ecu/iniectors. The timing retard box will keep it from blowing up. I still haven't had any time to play with this car. Too much work and other projects going on.
