This is my old truck I gave to my dad which he has been driving till a tree fell on it during a hurricane last year. He hammered the roof out some and continued to drive it till he found something else. I was going to drive it to the junk yard this weekend but wanted to check here incase anyone needed some parts off it first. Truck has 118,000 miles on it and run great.
The good:
-Engine 4.2L V6
-Transmission
-New alternator with about 200 miles on it
-Recent trailer hitch
-Side mirrors
-Rust free bed in good shape
-Front bumper, lenses and grill
-Tail lights
-Tailgate has 2 small dents but its solid
-New windshield after tree fell on the truck
-Truck cap has scratches but in decent shape, was not on the truck when the tree came down.
The bad:
-Cab is pretty berkeleyed and the rockers are rusty
-Hood has a dent from a tree branch.
-I think one fender is good and the other has a small dent, I forget which one.
-Interior is moldy from sitting the past 2 months, cab is not exactly water tight anymore.
-Rear bumper has a few dents
All parts are best offer. Not looking to make much off the truck, just trying to make the best of a crappy situation.
