Automatic to Manual swap is pretty damn easy and many different year Subie 5 speeds bolt right up.
Yes, it had two head units when I bought it. Only one works, and I didn't remove it because it didn't seem to be hurting anything.
I have somebody local coming to look at it in a bit, it might already be sold.
