So a couple months back I picked up a Cavalier for my father since he needed something in better shape & got better fuel economy. I took this with the intent of using it for a BABE car or just sell it. It's not the most attractive thing & it currently needs work to pass MA state inspections (tires, corner lamp, right front suspension work). The motor runs very smooth & felt fine when I drove it 10 miles home on the highway. Steering is very sloppy, needs some work in the right front, idler/pitman possibly more. Interior is a bit beat, exterior has its share of bruises & scrapes. Would make a good winter beater or donor or fix it & drive it like a low grade pimp.
1993 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham. 160k. $1,000 takes it.

Good thing that this isn't a 94, else I'd be really tempted. Better thing that it is in MA, as now I have no temptation.
In any case, that is an incredible deal for whoever gets it.
The Caddy looks funny parked beside the 2 but this thing must go so I can acquire my next toy. More on that to come if the deal goes through. I will say that it will be red & have 287whp (Greg/Tony ssshhhh!).

I believe if you were to put 22" wheels on that, replace the seat with a junkyard one (or have it reupholestered in faux alligator leather), and tint the windows out, you could sell it for at least $3000 in the right part of town. just a thought....

Argh. That's what people keep telling me to do with my Cadillac, too.

I'm being serious... I've seen cars in REALLY terrible mechanical condition that sold for far above book value because they were decked out with questionable interiors, $99 pyle monitors from parts express, big chrome wheels, and either black/chrome paint or candy paint. I knew a guy that sold used autos near here and he would decorate some of his cars in that fashion, and ask way more for them than the "upgrades" cost. they never sat on his lot long like that.

Hey, at least it's not in Atlanta.
Oh, God... it's NOT in Atl! I'd be all over this if I had more than $.32 to my name and a longer parking spot.
Title is in hand, goes on CL tonight.
Getting tired looking at this thing. $600, someone come get it.

going to post on ISSF for you - some caddy guys there.
Can’t believe you still have this thing. I think even the A/C works. Someone buy this before he drives it to the junkyard to free up some driveway space.
I kid you not, a neighbor of my parents has one of those that looks showroom new. It is longer than Rhode Island!

Seriously. He has a tiny driveway and it's filled with big, sloppy Caddy, a 2, and Box Flares. Someone buy it!
i was strongly considering buying this thing until it turned out that i'm receiving a 944. if it was an LT1 fleetwood i'd probably buy still and combine.

WAIT A MINUTE.... You are getting a 944?
Awesome!
Yes, if this isn't gone by Jan. 5th I'm loading it up with scrap, maybe hitching an E30 to it & driving it to the scrapyard. Even CL isn't getting this any bites.

If this car was in Louisville, I would have already bought it. I can't believe no one wants it to beat around in.

Wrong end of the country.

Broke till 2013

Couldn't fix Right front problem anyway.
Otherwise, a beat up old tank would be nice right now.

i should be getting the title next thurs so if it all works out i'm kind of seeing it as a possible challenge-lite car that i'd drive down there, full interior and all, as an in-between for a big full throttle challenge build again.
SOLD. $600 to a kid that works at the Autozone I used to work at.
Now what to fill the empty space in the driveway with....

Woody you are truly evil. I want the Alfa & I want your CRX. I have one car in mind to replace the Starion with but if that deal doesn't go through not sure what to get.
