False logic here... you can't sell a Bradley nor own one, you mearly let it sit on the side of your house neglected for future generations...
Crap. I have always wanted a Bradley.
Plus, he's got a Bug, a Cushman, AND a Squareback in the background.
It's like every bad idea I've ever had all in one spot!

I would classify a Manx as a kit car or homebuilt. with a ej20 I bet I could build a car under 1500'lbs with cash power. So not in the main category

Read the rules carefully. There is not a restriction on kit cars anymore.
I think most of us who have been around for a long time are making a lot of assumptions about the rules (based on the old ones) which are not there anymore.
The rules permit "Any four-wheeled, production-based vehicle that was originally sold as a passenger vehicle is allowed."
Manx fits.

I thought someone had actually asked this question to the higher ups on the board in the last few years and it got knocked into the category with the lotus 7's and home mades.
I can get a manx knockoff body on a chassis for 250-400 in terrible shape all day long. You would think that the whole challenge would be full of cars like the manx then. They are cheap and way way lighter then anything you can find from a major manufacture engines fit super easy. The cage would be a heck of a place for a wing to mount. It's the easy button
In this thread I think you will find "The Management" (aka Managing Director) clearly fanning the flames of encouragement.

The GTII should be sitting on an IRS pan not a swing axle
What the hell's in the water in Kalamazoooooo?
Bradley's nice, digging the clean 411, but what is that Italian looking meter maid wagon? Can you focus in on that green and primed something out by the far barn?
I like this guy!

Oil. Oil is in the water.

I would go for it!
But then again I'm from western Michigan too.
I wonder if Paw Paw has done away with their lead water pipes? I grew up drinking water out of them. Explains a lot really...
That definitely screams turbo suby motor. I bet an SVX 6 cylinder would fit.
It's a good thing that it is no where near me. I'd be way too tempted. My dad had a Bradley when I was a kid. We all wanted it so he sold it before any of us got our licenses. He bought it for $1000 from a car lot. Ten years, 250k miles, and three engines later (vw engines used to be cheaper to swap than repair) he sold it for $1000.
Weird there's one for sale here in MN too. http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/ank/cto/4924947024.html

Looks like a standard 70s kit car interior to me. Has VDO gauges too. You can't even see the interior of the originally posted car.
You'll need to log in to post.
