Not mine, but very tempted...

I have a ford econline 350 car hauler for sale. Barn find. Has a 4000 lb superwinch on back of truck. I believe it has a blown head gasket. It has a 460 big block in it. Automatic. Call for more details. 860-710-2926 or 860-230-8326. Thanks
Why do I see these and always think, steal the engine and cut te frame to make a sweet trailer......
It would make a good trailer. But if you leave it intact, you can carry a car on it and pull a small RV trailer behind it. Drop a 7.3L IDI Diesel and 5-speed in it and you can at least get measurable gas mileage. 460 would pull a bit better but use more fuel.
I wonder how hard it is to do a HG job on a BBF in an econoline chassis? There might be a good reason why it hasn't been fixed already.

remove cab.......while doing it, just 7.3L it. Conversly, this would be a good LSX swap cantidate pending the rear axle ratio. You could probably get 16-20mpg highway from a slightly warmed over 6L truck block with ls1 heads/intake followed by your choice of auto trans. 4L60e would work if you didn't plan on towing anything behind it. All I can say is thank god its too far away.
I doubt that trailer is rated to carry that monster...
That is tempting. Always thought a crew cab ramp truck would be a great vehicle to have.

I'll bet that ramp hauler doesn't weigh as much as you think......probably under 8k lbs. But I get your point, that looks like a 7500lb capacity trailer.....prolly an 18ft
This may have been done before
