Nice start to a challenge car, talk him down to $1000 if you can determine that motor itself is still good. May have jumped time. (Easy on this car)

Black Mazda, manual 5 speed, Very LOW Miles for an '88. It only has around 125,000 miles. Has a few dings in passenger door and minor scratches. Has a sunroof but not sure if it fully opens. Does not have a radio in it.
Car does not run currently, so the buyer will have to have it hauled out.
We have tried to fix it but have come up empty handed. We have replaced the fuel pump, starter, spark plugs, iginition control module, iginition coil, and have bought a new battery for it. The parts are not cheap for this car but it can be a good car if someone has the knowledge and time to put in to it.
The car will turn over to try to start but its like it is not getting fire.
Im asking for $1200 or best offer. Trying to replace some of the money i have just put into it. The engine itself is worth alot. Having the turbo and everything. Would consider selling the engine and transmission for $900 together, but the buyer would have to take it out theirselves.
For any information call (765)341-6705 or email me at the above address.
Please only serious buyers. No scammers.
There was one of these on a street near my house up until about 2 weeks ago. I think it may have been abandoned there after one of the front brakes or wheel bearings "locked up" It sat, kind of lop-sided on 3 tires for several weeks, and every time I saw it I was surprised it was still there. I don't remember if it was a turbo or not. I've also seen another one, a red one, in the last few months. I guess they are still out there...if you wait long enough for them to turn up, since it seems like you can never find one of these "gems" when you look for it.
I wonder how it ended up with an LX wheel on the front. It's sad to see one of those with such low miles looking so sad and beat.

Do you get daily emails from CL on mazda/escort hits?
Nah, i just search maybe once a week for a few cars that i'm interested in to see if there's anything that i NEED to replace my MX6 with.
Usually on the search list:
Celica
MX6
MX3
Corolla
Miata
MR2
SVT Contour
9000 Aero
Neon ACR
Sentra SE-R
And i'd also take the right Probe GT.
wow, some list. Won't your girlfriend kill you if more cars follow you home?
I think i can sneak one more past her. We're about a month away from being back down to four, anyways.
But really, i'm mostly looking for the MX6's replacement. Good car, but because of what i've done to it, it's GROSS overkill for a daily driver.
