The good:
All new ball joints
M3 offset lower control arm bushings
All new rear suspension bushings
New fuel tank
New fuel pump
All new struts
BAV auto sport springs
New master cyl
Urethane steering coupler
E36 PS rack
New voltage regulator (alternator went out in Louisville two weeks ago)
New timing belt and water pump two months ago
New radiator
Lower temp fan switch and no clutch fan
Dist. cap/Rotor/Wires/Plugs
New guibo
5 speed swap with a nearly new clutch
And I'm sure there's more than I can't remember
The bad:
It's rusty. There's rust on the bottom edge of the doors and deck lid, and in the left rear wheel arch. The inside of both quarters have rust, and the floors are a little rusty too.
There's damage on the right quarter. I've actually got a nice matching quarter cut (brillantrot), but with the rust issues I decided not to bother.
It was rear ended. I replaced the rear bumper (faded zinno, almost matches) but the tail panel is bent in a little.
There are dings in the hood from a tree limb falling on it. There are dings in the right door.
The brakes are a little hard. I think the prop valve might be slightly clogged, because the back brakes don't seem to be doing much.
The key is a little sticky in the ignition. Sometimes you have to wiggle it to get it to turn.
I would literally drive this car anywhere in the country if you paid me for my time/gas/trip home. I'm not worried about it's reliability, it's the rust that bothers me.
I don't have any current pics of it, but here's a couple that were taken a while ago.
That's not me!
Here's a one from when I showed my wife how to change a fuel filter.
