Well it's time to part ways... I've owned this car since 2002 with 98,000 miles- I'm the second owner. I don't have time or interest right now to part the car out. I want it gone- the whole thing. It's not a hard fix really... I'm just done with it. Great car to fix up or take all the awesome parts/mods off of it... using/selling the parts is probably the best bet- lets be honest, it does have alot of miles on it. I'm a car guy.. usual maintenance of oil changes/brakes, ect have always been done. With that said... it's an older car with lots of miles.. so it's not perfect. Some dings/dents/scratches. Looks great when it's raining outside or from 20 feet away At some point over the last 10 years i've replaced the alternator, starter, calipers, O2 sensors... all the usual stuff. I just don't know exactly when I did it. If something broke, I replaced it. I auto crossed it for a few years as well... fun times for sure!

Basics: 1995 Probe GT 237,xxx miles Black exterior, black/gray cloth front seats, gray leather rear seats gray interior 5-speed, sunroof, power locks/windows, spoiler

Mods: -Borla catback (not having the Borla sound is what I will miss the most- amazing sound) -Test pipe -Hotshot style headers -MX-3 lighter-than-stock flywheel (14lbs vs 22lbs) -poly engine mount inserts -SPEC stage 2 clutch (it's been in for a while but still worked fine) -aeromotive fuel pressure regulator (was set at higher FP, back to stock now) -cold air intake -extra grounds in engine bay (if you want to call this a mod... but it smoothed out the idle) -Pilot 1055C driving/fog lights (look just like stock but metal so you can put stronger bulbs in)

Good: The car ran great until up until the crank sensor went and it wouldn't start. -NEW DISTRIBUTOR, Not reman.. brand new. I put it in the car and it wouldn't fire because the crank sensor was the issue... it's still in there. 0 miles on it. -Great tread on the all-season tires wrapped around the the stock silver swirlies -Paint is ok for age of car -Swapped in black outlined tailights -5-speed shifts fine... has Redline MT-90 in it -Aftermarket CD player (power antenna does not work- I pulled the fuse so it's stuck up) -Everything else works at it should (heat, AC)

Bad: The car just wouldn't start for me one day... so I tried a brand new disty assuming that was the issue, didn't work. Checked the resistance on the crank sensor and it wasn't in spec. Went to remove the crank sensor (i've replaced it once before over the life of the car) and the bolt holding the sensor on snapped off. Great... so I went to drill it out and there is now a bolt extractor broken off in the broken off bolt. So I'm done... not worth my time to keep going. New crank sensor should fix it up- new crank sensor is included. Also, when it was running, the idle would drop down kinda low/almost stall now and then when I was stopped at lights. Never bothered me so I didn't look into it. Also, the ground effects are cracked below the doors/in front of the rear tires on both sides.

Located outside Lancaster, PA.... now asking $1000 for GRMers... will be listed higher on craigslist. I think the parts are worth that price at least (disty, wheels/tires, trans, exhaust sytem should total over grand at least). It's taking up space at this point... MUST GO- need the driveway space for the a Wrangler I just picked up.

Strip the parts to keep/sell (make a few hundred) and even get some cash for the shell.... there is alot of good/working stuff on it. Or spend some time (which I don't have) and fix it. It's just not for me anymore.
