High performance detachable hellhousing unit, one of the highest capacity gearboxs of the era.
This unit cam out of a big bore BMW with reportedly under 100k on it. No records to substantiate.
I bought to go into a Bitter (Opel engine) so in addition I have new in the box: Opel CIH bellhousing/clutch fork, pressure plate, clutch kit, throwout bearing and a good used flywheel.
So besides the Bitter, this would all bolt up to an Opel GT engine and take whatever torque you could wring out of it (even with forced induction). Unsure what other options this may give you.
I understand that bellhousings are available for BMW, Jaguar, Ford (Euro and American), and small block Chevy (non-LSx series) engines (as well as others).
Asking $800 for everything; will sell just the gearbox for $600 if you don't want the other stuff.
