I saw that about a month ago. I really want one but that looks like a nightmare (understatement?).

Wow. I had a friend in high school who's parents bought him one of those. It's the only one I've ever seen. On his, you could remove four bolts and the whole roof panel would lift right off.

I'd bet that $100 would buy that car, but I'm not sure that it would be a good idea for anything other than a Challenge car.

I can see this making a good LeMons car under the name of "The Flying Gordita" Mexican theme.

Take a friend...especially if you take cash...double especially if you are gonna offer a 100 bucks. Them boys play rough down there.

So...

...I spotted this thread this morning and I got to thinking about my old friend who owned a Gordini. Then I remembered that after high school, he rode his bicycle across the country and then wrote a book that I never got a chance to read.

Thank you, GRM and Amazon.

Just FYI that is definitely from the 70's and is known more commonly as a Renault 17. It's a shame these kinds of things are never close to me, I seem to be the only Francophile on the boards

Renault R17

I may not be a Francophile but I sure do love French cars.

Remember: French cars were only a white flag away from being German cars.

Haha! Sir, I've posted a "WTB: Renault Fuego" thread. You're not alone.
