I got this engine from another GRM'er in exchange for a case of Smithwick's. It came out of a Formula SAE car. The plan was to drop it into my Formula Ford chassis, but since that idea has ground to a halt, I thought I'd offer the engine up to someone else.
I'd like to recover my investment.
Judging by the hump in the middle of the valve cover that's an F1, 1989 to I think 1992. My model years maybe off, but it definitely has center driven cams making it the earlier model.
Is there a wiring harness with it?

No harness. I think they used Megasquirt or something that was transferred to another engine.
Here are another shot:
I'll give you 2 cases of Smithwicks...If you can bring it here
I think I can rig that to my go-kart

While Michigan in December sounds delightful, I'd have to down the two cases of Smithwick's before I'd make that trip.
You know... that is just tempting enough to pay for the shipping to TX. I have a gokart project that really needs this.
Any weight estimate?
Actually... I have a buddy going north for the holidays. Hmmm.

I'll try to weigh it this afternoon. My guess is that it's less than 100 pounds.

Why mess with a perfectly good go kart when I have a Formula Ford chassis to go with it?
