When did a 302 cam start to cost more than a whole LSx engine?

I'm looking for a fairly long duration cam, but don't want to spend the money on a new one, does anyone around here have one that is just taking up space on a shelf?

Well stock roller cams are a dime a dozen but if you're looking for an aftermarket one then you're going to have to pay just a bit more since a new aftermarket performance cam goes for around $300 and up.

I may have one from my Mustang. Its a stock H/O roller cam with 270,000 miles on it, if that helps.
