1974 VW Beetle, white on white on white convertable. It's been sitting in a Stealerships showroom for 15 years that I know of, possibly longer.
No rust, says it's fuel injected. He's asking $10k.
Sell the 914, sell the bike, rent out the wife; it's a nice car.
Dan
You'd sell your 914, and bike, for a convertible Bug??!?!!
I think it might be time to hand over you man-card Dan....

Sure its a 74? The triple white was a final edition run (79) for VW and quite a few ended up as showpieces on dealer floors, our local VW place still has one. If its in good shape it could be worth it.
I couldn't imagine how hard it would be to keep a triple white car clean. I think triple black would make more sense.

At least in the midwest, a white exterior is easier to keep clean than black. Opposite for interior though.
I once had a similar car and asked a professional detailer how to clean the top and interior. He said - 'don't let it get dirty'. In other words, scrub it at the first sign of any dirt.
That strategy works but it is hard to keep up enthusiasm over time.
