I have been seeing that one for a while. A 986 is in my plans for next year, but I gotta sell the Alfa first...which means waiting until spring. I also worry about those early cars dropping cylinder liners.
Could be as simple as a air/oil separator. Could be porous cylinder walls...
I'd like to do a 1.8T swap. 5 speed Boxster uses the same trans case as a B5 Passat. Diesel or W8 swap would be equally fun...
1.8T would actually make a pretty good budget swap I'd imagine. After seeing those pics in the ad I now realize that Boxsters have a LOT of cargo space.
