typical flaking white, manual BG 323
ready for bronze oil bushings and citrastrip, primer and paint of your choice. Super fun on dirt, even more fun with the world's easiest swap (the BP motor) that can be found for about $350. If anyone picks this up they have an open invitation to bend my ear on these cars and if they're local I'll be willing to come help do what I can. If it weren't for being nearly 11 months since I've worked full time i'd be headed down to pick it up myself.
If it wasn't for the 2k I dropped on a root canal today and the upcoming 1500 on the crown I'd be down.
Sad this is far away. A friend and I are looking to go in on something to use as a two driver rallycross car. Looks like this could be great fun.
It is my Mercury Tracer I drove in High School! Loved that car.
Nothing more fun than a 88 hp roller skate!!!

126hp from the BP swap really makes it fun, and allows for effective use of wider tires for increased mechanical grip.

I noticed there is a turbo 4 BP available with 145 hp. Nothing like an infinitely more complicated system to get 17% more power!!!
All jokes aside I really do love those little cars.

Turbo BPs are best served by 17psi, fuel, megasquirt and a different turbo. Ideally you stay around 220hp if you don't like papermasche G series gearboxes. But the bottom ends can support more. If going north of 320hp rods and a PAR gearbox are recommended, the rods are cheap, the gearbox is not.
