Understood. Just thought it would be a cool challenge prospect since it hasn't been done (to my knowledge).
Plus, since the guys on crack, it might learn him a thing or two to have the E36 M3 negotiated out of him.
(wait, that didn't come out right) (wait, I meant that didn't sound right)
Don't get me wrong, I would LOVE to see a Biturbo at the Challenge. We might have to implement an Index of Effluency a la LeMons just for something like that.
Here's a $2850 1983 Quatroporte in Detroit, though it's not running.
And a $2000 BiTurbo. Lots of new stuff on it, but it needs a starter solenoid (according to the seller).

For one that has been sitting for years, thats quite a lot. If it was driveable that would be fair though I think. There was actually a running Quattroporte III for sale here for $3k, it sold fast though. I want to get a biturbo someday, just to see what they are like to drive, and it they really deserve the terrible reputation. I dont think id pay more than $1500 for one though if i did.
There was one for sale on ebay in the detroit/windsor area a couple months ago. Listed at $600 and exactly zero bids. I thought about lemonizing it, but I doubt it would have ran for more than 47 minutes.
