1988 mazda 323 gtx
This was my daily driver and ran great last year until the turbo oil seal busted. I tried to put a bigger turbo on but has exhaust leaks pre turbo so it wont build boost. There’s some rust underneath (mostly surface rust, rear end under driver seat and under passenger seat). Behind the front tires and just before the rear there's about 4x4 inch rust spots.
- Cranks up and runs
- Holds an idle
- Just wont build boost
- Mileage reads 23k. Has a sticker for odometer replacement but no mileage on it.
- Powersteering is all there just not hooked up.
- A/C has been removed
- Sun roof tilts but wont go back
- Windows and radio work
- All lights work(fogs are not wired up)
This is basically the best project ever. Car has potential but my priorities have changed (baby on the way) and I don’t have time or resources to devote to this project.
Will hold idle after warm. Way down on power with no boost so must be towed.
Somebody please pick this up.
