NMNA, looks like an automatic with a busted CVT.

About $3k for a junkyard trans for those who might be thinking about it.

Selling off the engine and miscellaneous bits might get an essentially free shell. What would you call the LS4/MINI version of a SHOgun?

Damn... if that wasn't halfway accross the country, I'd buy that in heartbeat. The MiniFini rear rack mount alone is worth a bit (the things that look like two gun barrels sticking out of the rear bumper).

Hard to say if I'd replace the CVT and flip it, or sell the NA engine, swap in a FMIC turbo'd S engine and cage it (no, adding FI to the NA engine doesnt' work well - by the time you make it take boost and change the cam, an S long block is cheaper).

Anyway... it's a good deal for someone who can do the work themselves. Or for parts. Otherwise, not so much. A Cooper CVT with over 140K miles isn't worth a lot.

Since the engine in those was used in Chrysler products like the Neon and PT Cruiser I wonder if you could swap a SRT-4 drivetrain in?
