I wonder how many hours, no, days, I logged on Destruction Derby 2 in the 90s.

Best of luck with the sales, good stuff at great prices.

"You're on FIRE!!!! There's flames all over...."

"WATCH IT!!!"

Yeah, I played the crap out of that game too. I also have the 1st one and Destruction Derby Raw in the collection. Raw is awesome.

The best demo derby game I have has to be Test Drive: Eve of Destruction for the PS2 and original Xbox. I have it on Xbox, and it's the better version. That is a hidden gem. It's based on a NASCAR game engine that the developers had to scrap because EA bought the exclusivity rights to the NASCAR license. Instead of calling it a day, they decided to apply the game engine to a demo derby game. There's tons of different cars you can buy and different events to race in with the career mode. All are based off real fairground demo derby events.

Along the way, you unlock a ton of footage of the real events that inspired the ones in the game, complete with interviews from the competitors! Those are worth playing through the game right there. Some of the drivers are very interesting people.

im just going to bump your thread to give a +1 on Test Drive Eve of Destruction. Still a great game that I break out from time to time. Also for some reason I still really like Driv3r (Driver 3). The story mode of the game kind of sucks a lot, mostly because the on-foot controls are terrible, but the damage model of the cars is pretty entertaining and you can find some things to do in the 3 cities.

If FF7 was in the ps mix it would be mine! That being said, the number of hours logged on street fighter and friends cussing me for it cannot be counted in days... more like years, that game rocks. I was banned from Ken and Ryu by my friends, it only helped marginally.

Man, I wish the Sega had Road Rash with it. That game was awesome!

I do have a spare copy of that game kicking around somewhere, but if I include it, the price would have to go up a bit.

I have a permanent scar from an injury inflicted by my cousin after beating him as Ken during Survival Mode on Super SFII. You see, I was Ken, and he was everyone else, INCLUDING Ken.

Yeah those two could be a serious pain in the hands of anyone that knew what they were doing in that game. No scars here though.

Test drive eve of destruction developers came to my old Derby forum, the IDDA (international demolition derby association), and asked for pictures, user names, and info, from our drivers. Lots of the computer "players" are actually personal friends of mine. I always loved that game.

That right there is pretty awesome. I wish they would make a sequel to that game.
