lol have you been to ohio lately (where I live)? The zombies are running the place - since they are undead and sore feet mean nothing, walking everywhere is no issue - hence all the cars for sale. besides, havent you ever seen horror movies? Zombies somehow are able to get wherever they want FAST ...waaay faster than anyone stumbling around with a half decomposed leg should be able to move. Its pretty common knowledge that zombies dont need cars since hobbling around is sooo much faster.
