MR2 $350 OBO for the Challenge minded - Bring wheels, and a good story.
I'm relisting this because ... things happen in life that have nothing to do with the car.

This is an 86(?) MR2 I bought as a possible Challenge car, but have already pushed it aside for 4 other Challenge cars. It’s time to clear it out of my yard. The car is $350 ish (if you have a good story) for the $20xx Challenge minded Team / Person. The car is Located Near Tampa, Florida. Bad (That I know of because all I did was tow it home and stuff it in under the cover): - Bring your own wheels; I’m keeping what is on it now. Any Challenger worth his salt has 4x100s sitting in the spare bedroom. - Bring a trailer. It ran poorly when I parked it 3 years ago, so don’t plan to drive it on the trailer. - No headlights (They are required for The Challenge) - Race car paint job, but it does not look too bad. - It’s been sitting for a good three or four years. - Bill of Sale car. Good: - Looks to be rust free - Has roll bar that you can sell off. - Comes with KYBs in the box (But since they are 3 years old maybe this should be in the bad.) - Has racing seat belts (old) - Looks to have a header, might have other goodies hidden here and there. - Fun aluminum air scoop Bill of Sale. (no title) Valrico, Florida. Bring 4x100s and a trailer

the bungie holding the sunroof in is a nice touch :)... but an aw11 with a roll bar looks like a good start... plenty of weight to be lost for not much money, newish shocks = the most expensive part of the suspension (other then tires) and thats with the car... so get it running and add a little boost and have a fun challenge car... or go whole hog and swap in a 3s or v6 (or SHO engine like showed up back in '03 or so lol) or whatever else you could fit in and have some fun :)

still funny when I see that color it looks a lot like bill strongs car from the early 2k's (but he used krylon to pull it off)

good stuff :)

Quit trying to make me drive to Florida. Gas is expensive in trucks.

Rear spoiler with no integrated bake light implies that this is an '85. Center brake light became federally required for '86.
As an '85 this should be set up for a rear sway bar which was "de-contented" the following year.
Seems to still have the rear window sun shade which used to be a highly desirable piece with a value of $50 to $100. Be sure to remove carefully as most people do not realize that to remove it properly you need deep sockets un-done from the interior.

If that is a cheap grant wheel adapter you may find that the wheel is too close to the turn signal and wiper stalk. This can be solved with the Grant extention. Mine was 2" but I see they now offer a 1" and i would go with that.
