So it was driving around with a bad knock when it got in the accident, or the owner just kept driving it and stopped checking the oil?
2v 4.6's have so many issues to cause a knock, it isn't even funny. Between broken ringlands, piston slap, bad lifters and followers, on top of a real rod or main knock, it's anybody's guess.
Body damage is a fairly "easy" fix as it's just the door, quarter, and rocker. It just isn't cheap being a vert and possibly crooked now....
