NMNA - 1986 Conquest TSI $600

This looks like a steal with all the extra parts and the non jet-valve head. If I was back in town my wife would be moaning about me dragging it home

I have a 1986 2.6 litre Turbo Charged Conquest TSI not running for sale. It has a new denser cast head with out jet valves, the head has been milled 10 thousandths, pocket and ported, intake and exhaust matched to head. New valve springs stock and a 3 angle valve job hand lap and back cut. There is a 85 model solid lift cam and the other hydraulic cam with new lifters, The block is an 88 model and has been bored 30 over and has Hypereutectic pistons and a balance shaft eliminater kit., 5 speed trans with heavy duty clutch and the fly wheel has been lightened. There is also another 2.6 litre stock engine. The body is in good condition, but needs to be painted, because of sitting so long. The interior is in really good condition and the sits are leather, the dash is not cracked and the door panels are good, it has power windows.the wheels are good but the tires are dry rotted. I will take $600 dollars cash for the car and the other engine.

Those pics have to be 25-30 years old.

That's what I was thinking. "Big Slam" Pepsi. It's possible it's been sitting in the cup holder since 1988, but I doubt it.
