NMNA, but was so weird I figured some folks here might be interested, though the price doesn't leave room to chop it up and turn it into a Challenge car (which I'm strangely averse to; I guess this is one of those instances where it's so rare it really might be chopping up the last one)

Ad said: Here is a one of a kind. This was made at Freightliner in the 1950's. The body is all aluminum, the frame is a Crosley. A Yamaha 4cylinder shaft drive was to be the power plant. It also goes with the car. This is a great candidate for an electric car. This is a project. It is only 48" wide and about 8' long. Fits in the back of a full size pick up. Titled as an assembly. Tires are rotted, but so light, fronts wheels need to be freed up. Very Cool Project. (phone removed for Internet etiquette) Looking for around $2000, or Make a reasonable offer after viewing.

I couldn't find any Freightliner association when this popped up for sale a while back. It seems like possibly a guy who worked in the shop made it after hours or something...
