Cool fact : Was riding with a friend in his pinto trying to get the radio to work when we hit a parked Caddy. Busted the headlight on the caddy. Totaled the pinto.

I don't think they ever put a V6 in these by the looks of the engine compartment I think this is the 4 cylinder 2300 engine.

No, for sure that's the V6. Air filter is in the center. Thermal air is in the right place. Plus - you can see the LHS valve cover.
