Just happened to be looking on CL and found this. Not sure how many folks here would be interested in a small RWD wagon, but hey, this one even has the desired MANUAL transmission!

My aunt had one of those and I was amazed at the amount of neglect that car endured.
It is also worth pointing out that the fact the car has a cd and mp3 player is proof Toyota was far more advance than anybody else in 84!
I used to have an '81. It was a great little car. 1.8 and a 5 speed. Bought for $350, drove for 2 years and sold for $500.
What an awesome little car. I used to have an '81 sedan. It was slow, slow, slow but man it was unkillable. I also had a '72 sedan and it was even slower (2-speed auto!) but was quite killable, at least by a Range Rover to the rear.

Is that me? Am I that guy?
Because it's the truth...

Yes? I went to the 1978 Indy 500 as my dad was a pit worker and we slept next to my dads Oldsmobile. Some single guy came in a Toyota wagon and unrolled a thin mattress and slept in it.
It made an impression on me and I think your in genius category for bringing this up.
I learned to drive on a 76 Corolla Station Wagon. First thing I'd have to do to that one is unlower it, however.
