I know nothing about these, but damn, I kinda wish I was in the market for a challenge budget family hauler:

This is the first result for "previa" on youtube. Before they even started talking I was like "This is Canada."

All of them on cl are around 200k. I see this as a good thing. I'm guessing 15 pictures of ben franklin gets it. That's a lotta drunk hong haulin/ocassional family drive-in mobile awesome per dollar, IMO.
They all pop head gaskets at around 200k. Upside is they are good for at least another 100k (probably more) after the gasket is fixed. I get 15ish mpg in town with lot of short commutes and a check engine light on.

They are. Also have solid axles front and back IIRC.

Aren't they RWD standard?

Yes, most are RWD. Also, I don't buy the "they all need head gaskets at 200k". We've got a few regular customers with Previas, and one of my best friends has one, all of which have over 200k, and none of which have had a head gasket fail.

OK-MANY need head gaskets at the 200k mark. If you are shopping for one with 200k or more be aware that you may need a head gasket in the near future. Also be aware that the shop repair job price for a head gasket job on a Previa is exponentially higher because most sane people pull the engine to do the job.
^^ says the guy that replaced a supercharged awd headgasket with the motor in place..... does that tell you anything? Oh and they sound like trekkie shuttles going down the road.

Those are Minnesota plates... I wanna kill those guys because those things around here are IMPOSSIBLE to find in good shape. That one looked solid.

My mistake. I thought all the SC models were also All-Trac, but I guess not.

I just realized that you might have been talking specifically of SC Previas, and if that's the case I have no idea. I've got a few customers with N/A Previas, all with over 200k, and none have needed head gaskets. I have ZERO experience with the SC models.
