Time to pass the XR4Ti on

Hi guys. I got this last year from Brett, with the hope of making a challenge car out of it. Well, it's a year later and I've done nothing. Life and a move got in the way, and I'm half hoping someone here can pick up the torch and run with it. I've got some pics of it in storage. Don't have the pics Brett had up on here a year ago, but his description of the car was:

"The car is beat. It doesn't run. It needs paint. There are dents. The interior is ragged. It is a good candidate for a LeMons car, maybe even for the IOE. There are 254k miles on the odometer. Hell, it might need everything at this point in time. It does have the T5 and rear disk conversion already done. There is a spare Volvo 240 head and a spare differential."

I bought it primarily because of those last 2 sentences. It cost me $750 to buy and bring home, and I've stored it indoors for over a year, so no matter how I cut it I'll be losing money on this one. I'd like to get $600. Car is in Tallahassee, FL. Pics below. Thanks.

Seriously. I've wanted one of these for a couple of decades. I almost bought one but at the time I didn't have the money.

I have a VERY healthy '87 5.0 just waiting to be pulled out of my blue LSC and plopped between the strut towers of a smaller, lighter and sportier car.

Brett. Yeah, not really happy about letting it go but just too much going on. I'm also hoping it will live again with another GRMer.

i'm shocked an xr4ti went that many miles. mine blew up with under 100k.

I love my XR, wish you were closer, I have enough parts to finish another one, or I could swap my good bits into a non rusty one.

For what it's worth my XR is a blast to drive and doesn't overheat...

I'm almost a straight s hot down I-75 . Time for a cool road trip that will be the start of your build page! Lol, I'll put it on Craigslist or Ebay I guess. If no one snags it, it will be my winter project.
