As usual, not mine, don't know anything but what is in the ad.Typhoon
So, who wants to make an AWD GM racecar?

Could be, I admit its been a few years since I paid attention to what the typhoons go for. If it were a syclone I would have been in Baltimore already. The Ty's just don't do it for me.
More like too much boost and nuked a piston ( or more).

HR once published that a vette engine would bolt to this power train.
I'm thinking awd, lsx swapped celebrity or citation.
In reply to J308:
Lingenfelter used the Oldsmobile bravada awd system behind an lsx in their last gen Sonoma. They said it was a similar setup to the sy/ty. I drove their collection's 64k mile immaculate syclone at Mecum last year.....went to cannuckland for $13,500.

Yeah. Ya see this is why I love this site.
I am looking at that trying to figure out how much box flare it would take to stuff that under an eighty five or so Cavalier. Then this guy knocks it out of the park.
Nice!
that thing needs restored/saved from you nuts who would swap the driveline into a turd and make a $10k truck worth scrap and a $500 car worth $1200.
of all the time to have my car cash tied up in other things...
looks like it has Z06 wheels too
If it were currently a $10k truck I might feel bad but as it sits, that thing is junk.
I vote out the running gear under a Pontiac 6000 wagon.
if the body is clean, it's a paint job and assembly away from it.
anyway you could get AWD pontiac 6000
$700 '92 Olds Cutlass Ciera Wagon
Add this, sell Typhon interior for $100, scrap metal for enough to get a set of used Auto X tires GRM? Check AWD? Check Sleeper? Check Challenge Issue cover? maybe
You are welcome
The 4.3 shares just about everything from the LT1/350 as far as bolt patterns. Shouldn't be too hard to make things insanely awesome with this thing...
In reply to Conquest351:
LS should bolt up as well......if this can be done with a bravada setup, the sky is the limit.
With this inside it
They claimed 0-60 in 2.9, 0-100 in 6.8
It was also totalled on a dragstrip.....
I suppose I'll never understand the allure, aside from the rarity. I'd rather plunk a turbo or two on a clean, running, $1500 Safari van and have a real sleeper than dump a bunch of time and money into a pile of filthy E36 M3 like that thing, which anybody who knows anything is going to berkeley with at every stoplight.

This with a modern aluminum v8.
Hmmm. Truck motor, c3, s10 bits.... challenge budget?
I've always liked the sy-ty's. I wouldn't mind having this one either.
That being said, a Buick Grand National clone with that drive train would be uber cool...
