yes that's right, I'm looking for an abandoned Locost chassis that can save me the time of welding my own. Actually It's for my brother and my son to have a project that can be driven on the street that is fun and constructive.

I think this one (the cursed locost that nobody around here can seem to finish) is probably sitting again. PM these guys to see who the current owner is and if they'll sell it to you.

Maybe you can be the lucky one to break the curse.
From the posts on that thread, it sounds like Sonic was the last to lay hands on it. He's at least in PA and maybe a smidge closer to Chicago than fox is. Good luck!
Yup, that one is mine now. Once I get my MGA either sold or up to live with my mother, work on the locost can begin.
^^ So he says now.
(OK, not for sale...... still, I was right about it continuing to sit unfinished in a GRMer's garage.)
I've got some locost parts for sale. I don't have a frame but I do have a Zetec and a rear wheel drive 4 speed that will bolt up to it. I have some fiero seats, the rack and pinion and steering column/wheel from a Mustang II, some 13" 4x108 Ford Capri wheels. Some other miscellaneous stuff probably too.
I'm up in Appleton, WI 54915 (3 hours north down the highway). A package deal for the best price! PM if you're actually interested.
I never made it to the frame building portion of my own stalled locost build!
you've had that stuff available for years now. back when i had the tubular frame you offered it up.
I'm trying to get a good frame first this time then get the bits and pieces that go with it.
