i picked up an 89 caravan from a customer whose mother in law passed away.
it is modified for someone who uses a wheelchair to be able to drive.
specs: 3.0 chrysler/mitsu v6 with auto, 94k miles
-2 brand new die hard batteries
-new brake lines
-high top conversion
-electric side door
-wheelchair lift inside sliding door
-electric sliding/pivoting drivers seat to transfer from wheelchair to seat
-hand controls for brake and i think gas pedal
-nice tires with excellent tread
-sony cd player, cb.
its a decent looking van, just putting a feeler out to see if someone with a disability who cant afford a brand new 30k+ entervan can put it to use before i decide to use it as a work van. pics will happen during the week sometime.
$750
If you were closer to Georgia I would ask you to donate it (for a tax writeoff) to my church's Mechanic's Ministry. We distribute free cars to needy people. I'll see if there is anything similar in Ohio.

i donate plenty of my time to helping people with disabilities, so i need cash for this one if it's going anywhere. i would, however, make a substantially better deal than 2 grand, just didnt know where to start asking. prices on accessible vans are all over the place but mostly what i consider too high.
Gotcha.
Hmmm, any senior centers around? Post up a flyer there. Actually, a local college might work as well.
And then there is always Craigslist. Should sell pretty quick considering how special it is.

got it home today. drove nice on the highway, brakes feel excellent.
appears to need a tuneup, rear shocks, and at least the front valve cover gasket but maybe both.
couple rust spots down low. needs a good cleaning. it's burning a little oil right now, i would expect valve seals need to swell back up since it has been sitting since february when the owner went into the hospital. have receipts for brand new brake lines and some other stuff. the wheelchair lift works awesome and the hand control for the brakes works well too, i drove it home without moving my foot off the gas pedal. radio works.
$750 firm cash only no trades.
looking for a quick sale. not looking to turn a giant profit, just a little $ for my time. one of you guys needs it to haul parts in. you could use the wheelchair lift to transport engines on dollies without lifting a finger.
3.0 mitsu motors all smoke mine billows a epic cloud every time i start it!
