does my reputation precede me? you'll see it at $2017. don't tell my wife, she just knows i was seeing how far away new jersey was last night.
Pfft, if you can sell the Wartburg than I can sell the Javelin!
Glad to see it's going to a good home. Looking forward to 2.0 (or is 3.0?).

Depends on what gets done to it I guess. It never fully made it to 2.0
I don't get attached to cars, this one is a small exception but I also know I won't ever get back to it. I did what I wanted with it and the drive is gone now to do something else with it. Every time I saw it sitting there in the garage it just made me sad. Life is too short to be sad.

Yes, yes it is. I'm not much on patina but I wouldn't do much more (cosmetically) then clean that up. Then I'd sell a kidney or something to get a hellcat crate motor for it.

i've lusted after this one for 6+ years, and it's never been the right time. now probably isn't either but i told jim that i figured this was my last shot. we pretty much had a deal nailed out the first time it sold, that i couldn't force myself to follow through with. equally, i knew when i saw my datsun sitting in a field in 2012 that i needed it. it took 3 years but finally got it. i'm a persistent SOB when i want a car.

What's the phrase? Happy wife=less looks of death when you drag home a something in pieces. I think.

I already warned him I'm about useless as the perverbial tits on a bull when it comes to the wiring in that thing so he may pick your brain. Trying to find that life size diagram that came with the kennedy kit, I believe its still here somewhere.

I can probably get you in touch with the seller if interested. Dunno what his price point is since we were just talking trades
Probably would be better if you didn't.
In fact, let's just pretend I never saw this thread in the first place.
