I am looking for a 220v, at least 200amp MIG welder. I would like something name brand, Miller, Lincoln, snapon, maybe hobart. I am in Central Michigan so the closer the better. Post here or email what you have

I wouldnt touch a Snap-On welder.
Miller, Lincoln, Hobart are all great. Stick with one of those and you will be happy. Snap-On doesn't make welders, but they sure know how to mark them up!
As I have been looking I just noticed the snap ones have 100% Duty Cycle at pretty high amperage.
I currently use a small miller 110 unit and like it but would like something a little bigger.
The hobarts are a little cheaper...but are they also not as good as the lincoln and millers?
I have a like-new Miller 185. Maybe two hours total use. All the kit goes with it, self darkening helmet, gloves, some clamps, how-to books, small gas tank. Anybody interested? I'd rather keep it, but haven't used it in several years. I would spend the proceeds on advertising here!!
I have a Hobart Handler 180. It's great. I hear the 185 is better. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another Hobart.

Interested, but logistics could be an issue if you're in SoFla like your profile says.
We do a lot of shipping, and have accounts with FedEx and UPS, so might not be too bad. I don't know if I want my baby going to your garage of ill repute, though.
