Looking for some parts to complete the 97+ Cherokee front end swap on my Jeep Comanche. Figured I’d check to see if anyone around Boston had this stuff before heading to the junkyard.

I think I almost ripped my front clip off when I went wheeling last weekend...I would have sold it to you cheap! haha You missed a good time, it was a blast wheeling again, now I got the bug bad and not sure how I'm going to sell the XJ!

Good luck with the parts. Dave and I were at Brandy Brows a week ago and they didn't have any XJs, just several ZJs (all with rear disks).

You're doing a front-end swap for cosmetics? You oughta go whole-hog and do a China Cherokee swap if you're going to that much trouble.

That's a strange looking front end right there. It looks like a cheap Chinese imitation of a Cherokee.

I’ve seen that front end but I like the 97+ one better and parts are easier and cheaper to come by.

Plus for some reason the Chinese one reminds me of this:

I think the funny thing is that it's NOT an imitation. Chrysler licensed them to a company in China. When production stopped here, they continued up until 2005.
