Looking for mndsm's $2013 Challenge car, so cheap is a huge plus. Would prefer electrical oil pressure so i don't have to worry about oil in the cabin. (And also because the car already has a sandwich plate, yay!)
Could also use a slim fan or two.

Depending on how soon you need it I could probably find a VW cabrio oil pressure gauge (for about $10), they do have an oil temp gauge too but no water temp.

Are those electrical and "normal" sized? The car already has a ricey A-pillar gauge pod i'd like to utilize.
I don't need anything right this instant, it's not holding up the build or anything, but by the end of the month would be awesome.
I'd actually like to be done waiting on parts by the end of the month so i can just slap this thing together in a week and start tuning.
I think I have a VDO oil pres gauge that you can have for cheap since somehow I ended up with two of them. It is electric. I'll check when I get home and let you know.

Suppose it might be useful if i posted what radiator dimensions i'm working with:
25.5" x 15.7"
So... two 10", two 12" one 15", whatever.
I have a factory takeout from a 92 sho if you wanted to go that route.......just take a look at it next time you're up to see if that'll work
Itll cost you a bottle cap or two though......
Yes they are normal electrical VDO gauges, if you dont find something better before then I can grab one from the junkyard in like 2 weeks.
http://www.egauges.com/vdo_grou.asp?Series=Cockpit It would be one of these (along with matching volt meter and oil temp if you wanted them).
Cool, those would work out great!
Not to sound greedy, but I'd like to probably work out something with all three of you. I could stand to swap out the gauges in my challenge car as well to free up some budget. (Have some pimpy Prosports i'd like to move to the Miata, they're a bit salty for a challenge car and don't really "fit" the MX6 too well.)
Lay it on me!
Which of the gauges would you want? A full set including the senders was $35 when I bought some for my moms bug.
Ok, I plan on making a junkyard trip in about 2 weeks so I will grab some if I see them. It should be under $40 (if its more I wont get them) for all 3 gauges (voltmeter, oil pressure and oil temp). It was $35 when I bought them before but whether or not they charge for every single bit kinda depends on the mood of the person at the counter lol.
Coming to this late - the Lamb-o is getting a full set of www.dx.com chinese sweat shop gauges. They're electronic and they look cool and they're stupid cheap for what you get. Catch is it takes like 6 weeks for them to arrive.
I might have a 16" slimline fan thats only been test fitted before taking up space in my garage. I'll try to check, if thats not too big.

Any luck?

Awesome thanks!

Too big, but thanks anyways.

No worries, thanks for checking!
I have a bunch of Autometer Pro-Comp ones that I'm not going to use if anyone is interested. Tach, speedo, oil temp and oil pressure. PM for details.
sorry, totally forgot.
yes, I have a VDO oil pres gauge. It's a 150psi gauge, standard size. The paint on the bezel rim is chipped somewhat, but you could just take it off and paint it. I do NOT have the mounting cup that screws on the back, but you can just put some posts on it and mount it "the old way"
Anyhow, shoot me an email if interested. You can have it for whatever you want to pay for it + shipping.
You'll need to log in to post.
