Figured as a reader of Grassroots, this would be a great spot to post this. I recently purchased an 87 335i convertible off my mother, who was the original owner and it was a summer only car. It had been sitting for 2 years and needed some work, but the body is straight and clean. It's not perfect, but I've been dreaming of owning this car since I was 5 or 6 when she got it from my father as a birthday gift, and I only drove it once to prom, and hope my son will someday enjoy it. With it, I also got some spare parts collected over the years, spare taillights, housings, 3 original headlights, original fogs, black center manual console, black ebrake console with boot, brand new radiator breather hose from bav auto, radiator fan, shroud, rear chrome bumper, AFM (MAF), and I know I'm forgetting some, hopefully I can update when I recall.

Any ways, I need a few things, rear back seat (preferably black, convert only), my top is overall great shape except rear window which is sew in, so maybe someone has a decent top and window, center bearing if anyone has one, drivers side plastic convertible cover (3 or 4 " rectangle trim piece on spring), and pretty much any "performance" or suspension mod, part, etc. Chips, lowering springs, coil overs, shorter struts, skid plate, strut tower bars, front/rear valances or wing/spoiler from an is or possible aftermarket ones, manifold, exhaust, turbo manifold, small turbo kit, e36 injectors, 4x100 15 or 16" wheels, and so on. I will also sell my parts via PayPal or local if you'd like to make a fair offer.

On top of these parts, my family owns a powder coat shop (10ft oven), which ive done for 15+ years, so I'd consider bartering powder and blasting as well.

I'd also be extremely interested in a possible cheap or free block or motor (m20), something I can rebuild with my sons who are both autistic, I'd really like to teach them mechanical skills and how to use tools in hopes it can be a career, hobby, and even fall back skill for when their older. I'm really worried about teaching them hands on stuff to hopefully provide a better quality of life. One of them is also epileptic and will never be able to really drive, but he still loves cars. My youngest son is autistic but shows promise of living a "normal" or non-assisted life.

I am located in Worcester, Ma, and willing to travel within 100 miles, or pay shipping (PayPal and ebay rating is 100%). My personal email is my user name here on this forum, at Gmail (dot) com. Thanks for reading!!!
