Picture is with the first attempt "flat" bars which have been replaced with a better rise.
Figured I'd put this out there: 2002 Suzuki Sv650S fairing version with the naked handlebars/upper triple clamp installed. New fork seals, new braided brake lines, new bars, new battery, new mikuni fuel pump, throttle tube, rebuilt master cylinder as I was turning it into a sport-tourer, but found it's still not comfortable for me. Also has a Yoshimura slip-on & K&N Air filter.

Title is a clusterf*ck with both a dual transfer & lien shown on title (has been cleared according to Texas DMV) which would require an act of God to get it straightened out in Louisiana due to our asinine rules. Have a friend working on a replacement, and depending on the amount of interest/time it might come through. Otherwise you get a bad Texas title in the Previous Owner's name & a handshake. Not a problem in a Bonded Title state. (Mississippi I could have a title in no time)
Fairing is age-worn with a couple broken tabs, main seat is cracked. One of the sliders is rashed/bent so it has been down, but no other damage. Has a flat plate of aluminum for a rear fender eliminator. Includes the "S" upper triple, clip ons, and I'll even throw the hydraulic slave cylinder & line (no master) in for the clutch since I was thinking going hydraulic.
I'm trying to thin my 2-wheeled herd and looking for a "track day" car, since my buddy with the Audi TTS & M3 keeps egging me on. Interested in all the usual suspects (miata, golf, crx/civic, e30, etc) or some "ready to drive" oddballs (Jim's "Yugo from Hell" for example)
