That looks like something that should be in my garage, but I have to stop dragging these orphans home.
C'omon man, a straight axle, remove the doors to shorten, 392 blown Hemi, AA/FA vibe....... Or build a Mini.
It would tempting if he had the title for it. A potentially good basis for a "no berks given" mid-engine build, since you have to scratch build it all anyway. Could probably recoup some of the purchase price selling the narrowed rear.
But like Todd, I can't bring home any more projects.
Wonder what his original plan was. The engine bay is very small and trying to put in a longitudinally mounted engine pretty much means a good bit of it is in the passenger compartment. I guess you could always move everything back so you sit where the back seat is supposed to be, but then ingress/egress would be comically difficult.
I think he started cutting, bending and welding tubing without a plan and then realized there was no space for a driver and abandoned the project.
In reply to T.J.:
I've seen a few RWD-converted Minis and yes - the driver essentially sits in the back seat, or just slight ahead of it since the sheet metal required for the rear axle and tires moves all that forward a bit.
