I wonder what he bought that for - it was on the local facebook marketplace, one owner car that had been sitting since the original owner stopped driving and was being sold by his daughter. I tried convincing a coworker to buy it but it never happened, she told him the best offer she had so far was $600. I might have considered it if I had a garage and hadn't just bought another beater. If anyone wants someone to take a look at it or help with pickup I live 10 miles from the seller and I'm happy to help!
That $600 number the lady fed us was definitely crap - seller has it on facebook as well asking $500. Might be a chance to snag it below the ebay reserve?
Oh that looks plenty rusty. The headlight surround scares the crap out of me. But a very cool car nontheless.

Fenders bolt on. Easy fix. Good buckets go for ~30 a pair.

When an owner tells me a 66 Volvo is a rusty parts car. I believe them.
The rust on that car is scary.
I'll bet it has Flintstone floorboards, no trunk floor, and the paint is holding it together.
