Not mine but I'm local to it and can easily check it out. 123k miles, needs what seems like minor work - clutch master and slave cylinders.

That's ridiculously low mileage. It was gone not long after you posted it.

I think it's still available. Verifying.

Just checked with the shop where it's sitting - definitely still available! Speak up soon.

Can't get to the FB page...where is that located?

Located in Newark, DE, about halfway between Philly and Baltimore, a couple miles off of I-95. Here's the text from the FB post:

Someone make some bad decisions and buy this thing... it needs a clutch slave and master. It's an 81 Mercedes 240 diesel with a manual transmission and 123k on the odometer. He's asking $800. I think it's kinda cool... needs a good home. OM616 4 cyl.

I can get the VIN. Here's the rest of the pictures:

I love the looks of those so much. When the time is right one will be a project for me.

So how much road salt do they use in DE?

They use some, but nothing compared to PA. I can stop by and take pics underneath, but from topside it looks good.

For point of comparison - and I understand this thing is twice the age - neither my 2003 E46 nor my wife's 2004 TSX are showing a spec of cancer. Both get driven daily year round and have lived their entire lives without benefit of garage space. Nor did our 2000 GC when we got rid of it in 2015, and those things are notorious for rust. Even DD#1's 2002 Impreza wagon is only just showing some bubbles in the rear wheel arches now.

Is cruise useful in these? I thought they were slow enough you could just kinda hold the pedal on the floor and call it good.

In reply to BrokenYugo:

That what I thought. I noticed the cruise too.
