I know absolutely nothing about BMW'S but this seems like it could be a really great deal. I spoke with the guy (i thought about buying it) he is desperate to get rid of it and it sounds like the only issue is some minor tuning according to the owner. A Great Deal.. Maybe?

I most likely wouldn't go for it because it seems like the MS43 EWS Delete is for emissions, which is only good to do on a track day/autocross/rallycross only car.

That makes sense. Here in Florida we don't have inspections so it wouldn't matter Its so tempting.

Do it! The guy really wants to get rid of it. He told me to make him an offer. I would have to find a new place to live if i did make him an offer. Haha.

Do we know what the issues are that it's not driveable or dd-able. Seems like the ews delete was perhaps a workaround for the key not matching the dme. Any specifics on the tuning issues? Edit, my google fu indicates it probably needs a reflash of the dme to match the 330, but could depend on what parts were swapped or not swapped. If it still has the 325 intake and injectors it will need about 1500 in parts plus flash/software to run the 330 properly. Just saw a couple of 330i's m/t locally for 2500.
