SOLD
Helping my cousin out, he’s moving to japan next week for a teaching job.
2002 solara coupe. North of 250k miles, I bought it for him last year at $1100 and aside of replacing a brake line and oil changes it’s been dead reliable. Very good tires. Comfortable beater. It leaks oil to the tune of check and add at every tank of gas, i think it’s crank pulley seal, end of oil pan or bottom of timing cover, as its contained to that area. V6. PO said it had a top end rebuild around 180k and he was upfront about everything else, but take it as you will. Total sportscar because spoiler.
$350 and i’ll get the title notarized and ready to go when my friend with notary stamp gets back from seattle next week. Car is in use until 8/2 and i’m just looking to off it quickly and get him some moneys for living expenses while he waits for his paychecks to start.
Location will be my house in valley City Ohio 44280. I don’t want to look at it long, hence $350 for a running driving stopping car with camry reliability.

I am literally about to list a 2000 Solara. Are they really worth less than $350? I can sell the wheels and tires for that much! Looks like I'll be parting mine (my BIL's) out.
And you're not in Atlanta because...???? Sigh.

I’m sure it’s probably more an $800 car but I really just want it to go away quickly
I may be interested. Do you have any pictures? I know its a cheap car, but just trying to see color/needs. Any other immediate concerns that would prevent me from driving it back to Michigan?

I’ll have him send pics. Beige/goldish, grill cracked and ziptied in, rust shows on quarter panels and wheels clearcoat is mostly gone so they’re ugly. I’d trust it as long as an eye was kept on the oil. Engine light is on i think. Black leather interior is pretty nice for miles/age.
He was going in a big triangle from Cleveland to Columbus to bowling green(home, girlfriend house and college) and it never left him stranded. It just made the trip from Columbus to Cleveland on friday.
Basically it’s a $350 car with good tires that gets places and makes it home. It may die in a month or it may go 10 more years.

?? Yours?
Currently Pat's but soon to be my trailer.
I don't need it but people call me looking for cheap cars.
I've got $350 and can pick it up Pronto.
I'll be respectful and pass if someone wants it more or has a greater need but if you want it done quick, I'm here.
I could drive down next Saturday the 4th and pick it up. Only a 3 hour drive. Not sure where I fall in line/order here, but if you let me know here/PM, this would be perfect for me.
I think fair order is classicjackets then klayfish based on posting actual interest.

If I may, I’ll take ...?third? in line for the car. Have a family member whose car needs more in repair parts than their car is worth.
