i have a 1988 saab 9000 in a city impound lot in Chicago, it used to be my daily and I was fixing it to sell, but was towed while I was out of town and I can't really justify spending the $250 impound fee plus cost it would be to tow it somewhere to work on and then sell it. So here it is, for free if you want to get it out of the lot. It has a British Columbia title/registration but I can probably get it transferred to you through my Autoplan broker, then you can import it yourself. My number is (312) 513 6571 if you'd like to text me and are interested.
Bad:
AC deleted
Driver's fender and one of the tires are messed up from the ball joint failure. (pic is before that, i don't have one after)
Needs motor mounts, 2 window regulators, ball joint was directly hit by something and exploded, popping the CV from the trans. CV looked fine, probably just needs a new inner boot.
Failing clearcoat on hood
Exhaust leak
Needs to be towed out of the lot
$285 tomorrow, $320 the day after that, etc
Good:
$250
130k miles
Lovely clean caramel leather interior (incredibly high quality, or maybe I'm used to 2000s BMW trash)
Beautiful metallic colour, low to almost no rust apart from some surface small spots, this car lived in a garage in Vancouver BC
Factory power pack with certificate (exhaust and chip tune afaik)
It has 'Saab diplomatic sales' stickers all over it, all original sales documents
Turbo sounds
