Basically. Yeah that is all it is. But it was made by a real company and is road legal.
Where is stampie to enable when you need him?
After reading the history, i kinda want it for running around town. Perfect for running to food lion or the parts store. Or taking the kid to school. And easier to park thanthe miata!
Four wheels? Check! Production vehicle? Check! That should kick ass on the autocross at the Challenge.
Trivia: Citicars were produced in a plant at the airport that also hosts Sebring International Raceway.
This is the first Citicar I have seen with that Toronado convertible body. See, "rare" doesn't always mean "desirable".

Stop it. Seriously. I’ll enable all day long but you two Michaels together are going to get someone killed
Someone needs to buy this thing. If I didn't have 5 cars parked in my allowed 3 parking spots at my condo..... well now that I think about it I guess i have room at the farm...
Conscience: DON"T FREAKING DO IT!

I'm sure I can make room.
Gonna have to pass it by the wife....
First, that thing is awesome and deserves a 'busa motor or similar.
Second, it would appear that at the very least it's been for sale for a while, and was attempted to be sold on eBay. Someone go show up with $100. ;)

If someone brings this to the challenge (as is) I will bring $200 and I will bring it home with me. Profits in the middle are up to you.

And you should be able to lift it into the bed of a pickup by yourself, so transportation should be easy. ;P

Factory weight is 1300 lbs. I looked because I'd want it lighter before Challenging it.
The weight is in the batteries. After you yank the 6 lead acid batteries and that massive 3-5 HP electric motor, bet it is well under 1,000 pounds.
With a high horsepower bike motor, that thing would be scary, plan to replace the battery weight with a full cage or up your life insurance policy!
