Looks interesting. Main thing to check is frame rust. Look where frame kicks up in front of the rear wheels, and behind the footwell kick panels and where the front door hinges meet the windshield. If there is rust, don't waste your time or money.
Chillicothe, Illinois was the home of Jerry's Corvettes AKA Jerry's Junkers. I had a posting in CM on the dealership (ran when parked?). I wonder if this came from his lot at some point?

stipulate is not just the first with the money but the first to haul it away too.
I fear the first guy with the money will want to bring a truck/trailer next week while someone else can make it disappear the day of the sale!
Birdcage/frame rust would be my concern too. But if it was reasonably solid,it would make a good driver or start for a custom project. Good thing I don't have room for it.

Me too! I already have a C3 (72 Coupe), and no room in the garage.
