I miss my 85 GT-S... it was nearly the perfect car until it rusted to bits.

I say it all the time, how cool was Toyota in 1985?
In that year I had just graduated HS and went with my B-I-L when he was shopping for a new car.
In one trip to the dealership we drove:
e86: Red with gold rims(cool combo)
MR2: Smurf-y Blue with blue seats
Celica GTS: coupe and hatchback
Celica Supra: P model, white with blue interior

He bought the Supra. What a cool car for the time.

If not shopping sports cars we could have also shopped at Toyota for "Back to the Future" Marty McFly Toyota Truck or the original Toyota Van with a manual trans.
New FJ60 Land Cruisers were there too.
For smaller 4wd stuff there was the Tercel wagon

In the dull stuff, the Camry was offered in 4 dr sedan or 5 dr hatch.
The rwd Cresida was king of the hill.
I think you could still get a rwd Starlet also.
