94 Miata - Low Compression $1200 - parker Colorado
Too bad it is so far away! I have a '94 long block in my garage, it needs a head gasket, and probably a valve job, and slight mill, but what a car it would make!
That's actually 20 minutes away from me. I've sent him a text. Assuming the worst I'll have to drop in a new motor. Decent amount of Spec Miata guys here, should be able to source one pretty cheap.
What else should I be looking out for?
I looked at it this am. No VIN tag on the passenger front fender, clear coat is basically gone over the entire car. Severe wear to the steering wheel, split seams on the drivers seat.
It will run and start but has a huge miss, definitely something wrong, although didn't dig into it to see if it's not got spark or fuel to one cylinder.
Was in too rough condition body wise for me, so I passed on it. Plus seating it in confirmed once again that I don't fit in Miata's....
